Glass Systems supports Macmillan Cancer Support 2022/2023 – and raised an amazing £9024
When we asked our employees who they wanted as their chosen charity 40% who completed the survey said we should support Macmillan Cancer Support. Glass Systems then committed to matching all funds raised in any company event for Macmillan and it has been very successful.

We are very grateful to Glass Systems for choosing us as their Charity of the Year in 2022/2023 and for helping us to continue to be there for people with cancer when we are most needed.’
Macmillan ‘October’ 100 Mile challenge!
In October 2022 we took part in the Macmillan October 100-mile challenge, which involved, walking , running, cycling or swimming. Thanks to the participation of our employees, we raised an amazing amount of £1497.00 and with the company matching this amount the grand total was £2994.00 ! Macmillan ‘September’ Bike Ride challenge!
Andrew Cartwright, Regional Production Manager (Wales) took up the next challenge in September of this year raising another amazing amount of £3015 which the company matched taking the total to £6030. Andrew and a group of friends cycled from Dieppe to Lyon in France travelling 737km over five days, arriving in Lyon in time for the World Cup – Wales v Australia game!
THE TOTAL AMOUNT RAISED IN 2022/2023 FOR Macmillan’s Cancer was £9024.00.
